It has been five long, impressive and very productive years since Mosaic filled a glaring vacuum in British society, providing much-needed mentoring opportunities for young people from all races and religions, growing up in our most deprived communities. It combines professionalism with positive thinking and has a fantastic track record of breaking down barriers between individuals and communities. If Mosaic didn't exist, you'd have to invent it.

Mosaic has, since its inception, done exemplary work in raising the aspirations and building the confidence of young people. Role models and mentors are crucial to success and I have seen at first-hand the difference Mosaic’s programmes make in the lives of those involved.

It has been a great privilege to have been part of Mosaic's fantastic development over the years. I believe in Mosaic's mission to help young people to fulfil their positive potential, and to give those who have already done well the rewarding opportunity to volunteer and give back to their communities. Mosaic has come a long way but there is still much to do. With the support of our many hundreds of talented volunteers and the dedicated staff team, Mosaic will go from strength to strength in the future, insha’Allah.

It has been my pleasure to support Mosaic's work. Having seen at first-hand their work, it is clear that Mosaic is making a significant contribution to improving the life chances of young people growing up in tough communities. I would encourage business leaders to get behind Mosaic to help them make even more of a difference to building a better society for all.

It has been a pleasure to be involved with Mosaic right from the start. I've seen it grow from an idea to a reality. I have been fortunate to witness the changes it has made to people's lives and I know from my work in the media that organisations like Mosaic are more important than ever. At a time when there are people asking Muslims to step forward and be role models for their community, Mosaic shows that with help and a clear structure Muslims can step forward and be role models for the whole of British society.

I am delighted to congratulate Mosaic on their 5th Anniversary celebrations. The support Mosaic provides to young people from deprived communities is vital and throughout my 2012 mile walk this year I have seen first-hand how tough life can be for many young people throughout Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The mentoring programmes provided in Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and to young ex-offenders by Mosaic is changing lives therefore I encourage the public and the businesses to give their support so this not only continues, but reaches more young people in more deprived areas. I am honoured to give my support to Mosaic. I feel privileged that Mosaic’s National Director, Jonathan Freeman, is an Advisor to my charity, the British Inspiration Trust (BRIT), and that both our charities share a very special partnership to find ways to support each other and work together.

My Birmingham Ladywood constituency is one of the most deprived areas in the country and many of my younger constituents face enormous challenges. The work undertaken by Mosaic can make a huge difference to the young people I represent. Mosaic helps to inspire them and to set them on a road they might not have thought possible, such as going on to Higher Education.

I am honoured to have been involved with Mosaic since its launch in 2007. It is a vital organisation: providing a positive platform for young people to explore the issues and opportunities facing them today. As a member of Mosaic’s speaker bureau, I spoke at its ‘Connecting Cultures’ event in 2009 and I continue to watch with great interest its successful programmes touch thousands of lives. If Mosaic can achieve this much in half a decade, just think what it can do in the years to come.
Rt Hon Baroness Warsi
The seeds of Mosaic were sown a few years before the official launch in 2007, when I was amongst several people invited to listen to an idea. HRH The Prince of Wales wanted to find a way of getting young British Muslims, often living in disadvantaged areas, to fulfil their potential by achieving their goals, aims and ambitions. The idea sounded great and so the challenge was set to make it a reality. During a long series of discussions and meetings, I was always impressed with the personal input of The Prince through his ideas, comments and questions. Months later, Mosaic was born and I had the honour of hosting the launch. We didn't know what the future would hold, but after five years it is now obvious that there was always a need for British professional Muslims to give others a helping hand in life. After building a firm foundation, Mosaic is now in a position to continue offering young British Muslims the skills and confidence needed to grow as individuals, enrich the lives of communities and strengthen Britain as a whole.
You are doing essential work all over the country. Mosaic is much loved and well respected by the Muslim community. Keep up the good work!

Mosaic does inspiring work empowering young people to fulfil their potential and make the most of the talents with which the creator has endowed us. I congratulate them on their anniversary and wish them well for the future.

I am delighted to send my congratulations to Mosaic on their fifth anniversary of helping young people to achieve their aspirations. I have had the pleasure of meeting some of the mentees as well as the dedicated individuals who give their time as volunteer mentors. It is clear to see the impact of how that support can change these young lives.
I was delighted to present an award at the Mosaic Talent Awards in 2010. It was clear to me that Mosaic is serving a really important role in lifting the aspirations of young people and making positive role models accessible to them to help them reach those aspirations. I am delighted to send my congratulations to Mosaic on their 5th Anniversary and wish you every success moving forward.
Haroon and I believe that, through empowering young people with the value of education and social entrepreneurship, we can make a positive change both for the individuals and for society as a whole and create something for future generations. We believe Mosaic plays a vital role in supporting young people growing up in our most disadvantaged communities to make this positive change in society.

Mosaic’s programmes show how simple but effective engagement by businesses and volunteers can make a real difference in boosting the life chances of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Over the last five years, so many volunteers have given inspiration to thousands of young people across the country. It is important that the entrepreneurial flair of young people flourishes and that is why I am proud to support the Apax-Mosaic Enterprise Challenge, one of Mosaic’s many innovative projects.

Mosaic’s work encourages in children from an early age a sense of tolerance, an appreciation that, whatever your religion, people share the same fundamental desires to work hard, to achieve and to aspire. There are few better ways of demonstrating that faith exists to bring harmony rather than strife. I wish Mosaic’s work every success.
Rt Hon Nick Clegg MP
Having written a film about Muslims and Jews - which involved, whilst working with members of both communities, discovering what a fantastically creative space exists in the arena of interfaith relations - I support everything Mosaic have done and is continuing to do, particularly in promoting understanding, tolerance, and joint cultural activity between people of different faiths.

I have long believed in the power of role models and it is heart-warming to see the vital work Mosaic is doing. I hope more young professionals across the country sign up as mentors and see Mosaic as a way to inspire others to follow in their footsteps.

Giving young people the chance to shine through leadership and enterprise is vital. For young people growing up in some of our most deprived communities, Mosaic’s work does just that. Your work helps to build binds between different communities and I wish you every success.
