Founded by HRH The Prince of Wales and launched in November 2007, Mosaic was established as a multiple set of initiatives designed to support young Muslims and their peers growing up in challenging circumstances within the UK.  HRH The Prince of Wales' personal video message of support on the occasion of Mosaic's launch is available here.

HRH The Prince of Wales has a longstanding regard for Islam and the contribution that Muslims have made to society.  His speech at The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies in 1993 remains a powerful statement of The Prince's views.

Mosaic now has a clear focus on raising the aspirations of those young people growing up in our most deprived communities and in building bridges between communities.
