This Grand Final sees the culmination of a 2-month journey for the 5 winning teams from the London, West Midlands, South East, North West and Yorkshire regions in the Apax-Mosaic Enterprise Challenge competition.
The Apax-Mosaic Enterprise Challenge is a national competition that aims to inspire knowledge and enthusiasm about business amongst young people. The programme is co-sponsored by the Apax Foundation and the Department for Communities and Local Government. Mosaic is an initiative founded by HRH The Prince of Wales to help raise the aspirations of young people from our most deprived communities and forms part of Business in the Community (BITC).
Supported by specialist business mentors, students compete in an online business game where they develop, market and sell a new product. The Regional Final is the culmination of two months of mentoring activity where teams of students across our five regions will work to register their highest scores in the business simulation. The competition will see some 5,000 secondary school students participating. The top scoring team from our five regions will be invited to London for the Grand Finals to compete for £2,500 for their school and a further £500 to invest in their business idea on 1st May 2014.
