Primary Schools Graduate
The Primary Schools Mentoring Project was piloted last year and proved such a success that a second phase has been run with a new set of young girls and their mothers at the same schools.
Having learnt about important issues such as the education system, confidence, role models, and many more topics, both mothers and daughters attended a graduation ceremony to celebrate their success.
The programme will be launched in two new schools in London in 2010, again linking female mentors with those taking part to provide inspiration, motivation, and share their experiences and talk about how they have overcome challenges.
