As the 2012-13 Apax-Mosaic Enterprise Challenge gets properly underway, we are honoured to receive a ‘High Impact’ award from Global Entrepreneurship Week – showing that the many exciting events we held during the Week really made a difference to people’s lives.
From the launch of a new Female Entrepreneurs Network with the stars of The Apprentice to inspirational talks in secondary schools across Britain, Mosaic embraced the spirit of Global Entrepreneurship Week enthusiastically.
As the week came to a climax, senior business leaders took part in a Seeing-is-Believing trip to a secondary school in Westminster, culminating in the official launch of our Enterprise Challenge competition with high-profile support from government minister Nick Boles MP. This is the fifth year of the Enterprise Challenge, which aims to inspire young people through business. The competition will involve over 3,000 students in 80 secondary schools, supported by more than 300 business mentors.
It’s not too late to get involved! We are still looking for our last Enterprise Challenge mentors – volunteers from the business community who can give a few hours of their time to support local school children through the Enterprise Challenge – and we are particularly keen to hear from you if you live in the South East of England.
