By giving just a few hours of your time a month, you can make a real difference. Mosaic’s mentors are volunteers that want to make a difference to society and help to make our work possible.
Mentoring can be very rewarding and helps to develop personal and professional skills. In the independent report published by Demos 98% of Mosaic’s mentors said they would recommend that other people become mentors, and 96% said they would consider mentoring with Mosaic again.

There are a range of mentor opportunities, read more:
We are hugely proud of our mentors and are always keen to recognise those who go the extra mile. We do this through our Mentor of the Year Awards and Hero of the Month scheme.
All of our mentors are taken through a recruitment process which includes Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS, formerly CRB) checks and are given access to:
- full training and a resource pack of materials to help you plan your mentoring sessions
- a Lead Mentor who can provide advice and guidance based on their experience
- other mentors in your region and networking opportunities
