Global delegates gather for Summit
Mosaic gathers 80 delegates from around the world for the International Summit 2010
Mosaic is now in the final stages of preparation to host its second international gathering in the UK - the Mosaic International Summit 2010, 11-24 July. This will bring together 80 delegates from 17 countries around the world to engage in leadership development, to better enable them to become agents of positive change.
July 2009 saw 82 young leaders and entrepreneurs spend two weeks in Cambridge and around the UK learning about those issues close to HRH The Prince of Wales' heart and seeing in practice how many are already addressing these issues.
Mosaic was founded by HRH The Prince of Wales to create opportunities for young people, championed by Muslims, harnessing the power of positive thinking.
The two week Summit will grow the leadership skills of delegates and encourage debate around key worldwide issues, with delegates visiting community projects across the UK to bring discussions to life. Delegates have been selected from a wide range of individuals aged 25-35, representing a diversity of backgrounds and experience - from teachers to designers, HR professionals, students, engineers, journalists and business leaders.

We have already witnessed the tremendous impact of the global network of young leaders who emerged from our 2009 programme who have applied their experiences to local education, health, arts and entrepreneurship projects. We have great expectations that this will continue and have further impact as our 2010 delegates join the Mosaic network."
The Summit will begin at the University of Cambridge and will consist of a series of workshops to train leadership skills, as well as seminars and discussions with leaders in government, business and civil society addressing key concerns affecting communities. Delegates will then be divided into groups to visit projects around the UK before reconvening in London to report back and reflect as a group on their learnings and experiences.
