Mosaic currently operates in boroughs of high deprivation in London in order to address issues of concern affecting young Muslims and their peers living in these areas. Mosaic's launch event took place in November 2007 in London with a personal video message of support from His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, where various key supporters of Mosaic such as Rt. Hon. Hazel Blears MP, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Baroness Uddin and various other influential individuals publicly declared their commitment to an audience of over 200 City-based professionals.

Mosaic targets young people aged between 5-25 years through its mentoring initiatives from Primary School Mentoring, Secondary Schools to Prison Mentoring. The details for each volunteering opportunity can be viewed on the Volunteering Opportunities page.

Mosaic's London Regional Leadership Group provides strategic oversight of Mosaic operations in this region and currently the appointed regional chairs for this group are Nabila Sadiq, and Yasmin Waljee (Pro Bono Manager at Lovells LLP). In addition there are also Local Delivery Groups in place to drive day to day delivery of Mosaic operations in each main geographic area of our business in the following: North London, East London, West London and South London. See details of members for each of these groups.
