The Speakers Bureau makes available a wide range of inspiring Muslim role models that can be called upon by community groups, schools, media and others to speak on a great variety of subjects.

Aim

The Mosaic Speakers Bureau makes available Muslim individuals whose passion for communal responsibility and drive for social contribution make them valued voices, delivering powerful and positive talks to inspire and help raise the aspirations of their audiences. The bureau gathers together speakers whose belief in our society's high moral and ethical values is in total harmony with their Islamic faith. Speakers Bureau members come from different careers and backgrounds, but all united in an identity of common purpose and self achievement.

Objectives

The Bureau aims to do three things:

  • Help promote greater understanding of the contribution made by Muslims within the U.K.
  • Inspire young people to raise their own aspirations
  • Present voices committed to social cohesion and tolerance within society
