Following on from the annual Aagrah charity dinner in Bradford in October 2012, Mosaic National Director Jonathan Freeman and Head of Fundraising David Hannam were delighted to receive a cheque for £25,000 from Mohammed Aslam MBE, Aagrah Managing Director on 10th January.
Aagrah is the UK’s largest chain of Kashmiri restaurants, with a 30-year history of raising money for charitable causes. Mosaic’s Jonathan Freeman commented: “We were delighted to be selected as Aagrah’s cause for last year’s fundraising and networking dinner. And of course we are now thrilled to have received the money that was raised for Mosaic’s volunteer mentoring programmes.”

The money raised by Aagrah’s will support Mosaic’s service delivery in Yorkshire during 2013 and will provide:
- mentoring support for 770 disadvantaged children and young people
- support for 25 primary and secondary schools
- training and management support for 150 volunteer mentors
Aagrah’s donation brings them into Mosaic’s Patron scheme. At Mosaic we we rely on the generosity of our donors for all our resources. We could not deliver our mentoring programmes year in, year out without their generosity.
