My name is Sheinaz and I am a mentor for Mosaic – a charity which supports young people and children by linking them up with successful adult mentors, who can inspire them to have more confidence and achieve their dreams.
This is my diary for the 2012-13 academic year. I’ll be mentoring 20 students this year at a secondary school in Birmingham. I hope you enjoy getting a behind-the-scenes flavour of what being a mentor is like!
The name of the school will remain anonymous and I will not reveal details of any students which could lead to them being identified.
