I remember hearing about Mosaic when they first setup in Birmingham about 5 years ago. My friend runs a Children’s Choir and was asked to perform there, which she did.
The countdown is on in the final week before the 21st of April. As I write this blog post I am still thinking of the very sad news of fellow runners from the Boston Marathon.

Today would be a practical session. The first part of the session would deal with Role models, whilst the second part of the session would require the students to act out a role play.
Time really does fly when you are having fun… Today was the third session of the mentoring programme and the mentees had become accustomed to us and were…could I say generally quite pleased to see us…even though of course it would be too uncool to admit that!
Its the end of the week once again and I find myself wondering where the week runs off too? Having successfully completed the first session last Friday, I thought I had enough time to relax and plan activities for the next few weeks.
BUTTERFLIES ALERT: The fluttering of wings has begun once again!! Today is the first mentoring session and I am on my way to the school.
Rapport building session: getting to know the students. It’s 11.20am and I am on my way to the secondary school in Birmingham where I’ll be volunteering as lead Mosaic mentor.
My name is Sheinaz and I am a mentor for Mosaic – a charity which supports young people and children by linking them up with successful adult mentors, who can inspire them to have more confidence and achieve their dreams.
