Championed by Mosaic Associates, the Women’s Entrepreneur and Business Network seeks to bring together exceptional women in our target communities who have achieved significant success by creating their own business. The businesses must be for-profit or demonstrate social value, with women in key leadership and decision-making roles.
The event will feature Sheneela Ahmed and Priya Lakhani OBE.
Lawyer Shehneela Ahmed is the first Muslim female to become a registered football agent with The FA. Sheneela graduated from Staffordshire University. She has admitted that she didn’t know she would become the first female Muslim football agent until her application was successful. She said: “At the time when I applied to become a Football Agent I wasn’t aware there weren’t any Asian female football agents. It’s only after that I became aware. It’s a challenge for me. I want to prove to ethnic minorities and females that if you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything.”
