Mosaic delivers the Secondary School mentoring programme and Enterprise Challenge competition in London and the South East through both direct delivery and via a long term partnership with Learning to Work.
Nancy Lalor, Operations Manager at Learning to Work, is keen to encourage more mentors to support the delivery of both mentoring programmes across the capital and wider region.
She said: “Learning to Work is a not-for-profit organisation with charitable status, set up to facilitate links between education and the world of work. Business engagement is at the heart of everything we do and is what sets our activities apart when it comes to giving young people an insight into the world of work and what employers will expect of them when they enter the workplace.
“Research confirms that quality mentoring relationships have powerful positive effects on young people in a variety of personal, academic, and professional situations. Learning to Work is passionate about supporting young people to reach their individual and full potential.
“To achieve this, we work with an extensive range of business ambassadors to ensure we offer a wide breadth of knowledge and experience that helps young people make informed choices and understand the expectations of the working environment.
