The London College of Business Management and Information Technology (LCBMIT) has announced scholarships for young people from underprivileged backgrounds.
LCBMIT is one of Mosaic’s partner organisations, helping us to deliver our mentoring programmes in educational establishments across London and the South East.
The College has designed an MSc in Global Community Entrepreneurship in partnership with a top UK university. The course is aimed particularly at those who work in charities, social enterprises and NGOs who want to develop their management, entrepreneurial and community development skills.
Hundreds of scholarships are available for students attracted to this course and the many other LCBMIT programmes of study.
The College says: “LCBMIT are proud to declare that over 500 scholarships have been issued to students from under privileged backgrounds as well as those that have attained high grades in their studies. As part of our social welfare ethos, we are committed to providing financial aid to students. There are seven restricted scholarship funds, such as those designed for Southwark and Lambeth students. However, if you don’t fit into to any of our other scholarship funds, there’s no need to worry as there is a general scholarship fund for all home students studying in any part of the UK, but you must be either currently studying or have recently completed some form of formal education.”
