Mosaic has received a generous donation from Enterprise Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Enterprise Rent-A-Car as part of a burgeoning relationship between the company and charity.
Several members of staff from Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s Oldham and Ashton branches have mentored on the Primary School Programme and the company’s head office in Warrington are planning to send a team of mentors into their local school to work with teams in next year’s Enterprise Challenge.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s Saif Rehan said: “Our company was founded on the principle of ‘strengthening our communities, one neighbourhood at a time’ and we believe strongly that we’ve a responsibility to give back to the areas in which we operate.”
“As a member of Mosaic’s Regional Leadership Group in the North West, I see first-hand the vital work that the charity carries out across our area and I’m very happy that my employer has contributed in this way. Mentoring is a key focus of our business, both internally and externally, which makes Enterprise Rent-Car’s support of Mosaic’s programmes all the more satisfying.”
Saif Rehan became aware of Mosaic when he was studying at The University of Manchester in 2013 and has been working with the charity in various roles since this time.
