Mosaic is delighted to announce the appointment of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Sarah Khan Bashir MBE to the Mosaic Advisory Board.
His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan is the Chairman of Dhabi One Investments Services LLC in Abu Dhabi. Dhabi One Investments Services LLC is the investments vehicle of His Highness Sheikh Nahayan bin Mubarak al Nahayan, Minister of Cultural Affairs and a member of the ruling family of the United Arab Emirates as well as the Group’s majority shareholder. Sheikh Mohammed’s leadership of the Group’s Executive Management Committee and day-to-day involvement in the Group are essential in ensuring that the Management team has a full understanding and articulation of the direction and strategy envisaged by His Highness. As Chairman of the Group, Sheikh Mohammed has partnered successfully with clients and partners to achieve Group targets, strengthened company’s business by leading the implementation of Projects. Sheikh Mohammed works directly with the management team to envisage innovative programs to create new revenue streams and is involved on a day-to-day basis with the Group’s Financial Management, Negotiations, Consultancies, Mergers and Acquisitions.
Educated in both the UK and USA, Sheikh Mohammed attended The Vanderbilt University where he studied Human and Organizational Development before returning to the United Arab Emirates in 2008. As a National of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), from 28 March to 27 Dec 2015, Sheikh Mohammed successfully completed the nine-month Military service at the UAE Armed Force, as identified by the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Sarah Khan-Bashir MBE is a proactive, adaptable and conscientious solicitor, highly committed to putting something back into the community. Sarah established Shire Solicitors in 2007. The practice specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing, family law and general civil litigation
Sarah Khan Bashir was one of the founding members of Mosaic and long-standing Chairman of Mosaic’s Yorkshire region. She assembled a small and significant group of business professionals in her local area to kick-start Mosaic in Yorkshire – the first region in which it was established outside London. Sarah led by example, personally volunteering for both Mosaic’s secondary school programme, and by mentoring girls and their mothers at two local Primary schools.
Sarah was awarded an MBE in the 2014 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for her work with Mosaic in the region and other public service.
