Mosaic has won an Asian Achievement Award in recognition of its “perseverance among young people”.
The annual awards are bestowed by Birmingham-based newspaper The Asian Today, and recognise outstanding contributions of individual and groups to the Asian community. Other winners this year include Naz Shah MP, Zack Knight and Ninder Johal.
Jonathan Freeman, Mosaic’s Managing Director, said: “I am very pleased that Mosaic’s commitment to young people has been recognised with this award.”
“We believe that every young person has the capacity to achieve great things in life and through our mentoring programmes in both Primary and Secondary schools and the Enterprise Challenge competition we are determined that this potential is realised in all areas of the UK. “
“My special thanks go to all the mentors that give their time freely to support young people and to Mosaic’s Regional Managers, who work so hard to ensure that our programmes are delivered effectively.”
