Nurzulfikar Ali (Zul) is Head of Corporate Social Responsibility for Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad (PAMB), a leading insurer in Malaysia and was a delegate from 2011 International Leadership Summit in Doha and group leader at the 2013 International Summit in London.
Having been with the company for 14 years, Nurzulfikar recently took up the new role heading the Corporate Social Responsibility department where he is responsible for defining and supporting the strategic direction and long-term goals of PAMB’s CSR programmes.
Aimed at building a financially literate and resilient Malaysian society, PAMB’s CSR programmes are an extension of the insurer’s commitment to improving the lives of Malaysians and supporting the national agenda through sustainable efforts.
Its flagship CSR programme under the auspices of the Prudence Foundation, Prudential’s regional charitable arm, focuses on three core areas which leverage on PAMB’s key strengths to make a meaningful and long-lasting impact on society.
The core areas are on financial protection for the urban low income households (LIH) with PRUkasih, financial literacy amongst youth and children with Cha-Ching, an award-winning edutainment programme, and on disaster-preparedness
