Qatar Charity UK (QCUK) is a UK registered charity that is committed to empowering disadvantaged young people between the ages of 16 and 25 in the UK and Continental Europe. Launched in 2014 as a fully independent organisation, QCUK also collaborates with Qatar Charity (Doha), supporting its work in less-developed countries.
Through partnerships with respected national, regional and local organisations, the charity strives to facilitate community cohesion by addressing challenges in society in the following programme areas – Community Life (volunteering, decision-making), Economic Life (education and employment) and Cultural Life (sports and arts).
QCUK is a non-faith-based charity that is focussed on making a sustainable and meaningful impact to communities regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender or colour. However, the charity also receives and distributes donations that are specifically earmarked for projects related to Ramadan and other Islamic traditions.
Thanks to the generosity of its supporters, QCUK is able to enrich the lives of thousands of people.
