Mosaic is delighted to announce the appointment of Saker Nusseibeh, CEO of Hermes Fund Managers, to the Mosaic Advisory Board.
Saker is CEO and Head of Investment at Hermes Fund Managers. Previously, he was CIO Global Equities and Global Head of Equities at Fortis Investments, and CIO Global Equities at SGAM UK. Prior to this he was CIO Global Equities at TCW. He started his career at Mercury Asset Management in 1987.
Saker is Chairman of the 300 Club, a global group of leading investment professionals who seek to raise awareness about the potential impact of current market thinking and behaviours. Saker is also a member of the CFA Future of Finance Council and a public member of Network Rail.
Saker’s appointment to the Board builds upon his and Hermes’ existing support. Staff from the company supported a local school as mentors in this year’s Apax-Mosaic Enterprise Challenge, with one of their student teams making it to the London regional finals, and Saker has supported a number of Mosaic events.
Saker was also a panel member on the Responsible Leadership Debate at Business in the Community’s Leadership Summit at which HRH The Prince of Wales was the key guest in February 2014.
Welcoming this appointment, Mosaic Chairman Khawar Mann OBE said: “We are delighted that Saker has agreed to join our Board. Saker is accomplished in business and cares deeply about the effect business has on society and in particular on our young people. We look forward to his insight and guidance as we strive to ensure Mosaic has the scope and expertise required to achieve our goals.”
