Ken Heaton is Sustainability & Community Engagement Manager for facilities management company, Mitie.
Sonia Lapaire was in charge of Providence’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme and was introduced to Mosaic by the Business in the Community. She is now working for Beautiful British Spring in collaboration with the community and the financial sector.
Education and parental involvement has been a keen interest of Angela’s for a number of years, dating back to when she supported St Alphege CE Infant School in Solihull in the early 2000s as a volunteer parent librarian.
Nageen Faruqi is a trained accountant and has worked as a management consultant for many years.
Nas started working with Mosaic in 2009. Her career in the media had recently brought her to London, where she wanted to contribute to the community. She volunteered to take part in the prisons scheme, which she heard about through a network of London-based Muslim professionals.
Mary has been involved with mentoring at Mosaic since 2008. Before then she had experience of mentoring through her work as a life coach and through volunteering for organisations including the Prince’s Trust. She mentored for the Mosaic secondary schools and prisons programmes and she believes that “it’s important to do something where you do give back and you’re offering some service within your community”.
