12 January 2017 was a very important day for me and a very special group of young girls who had just completed a 10-week-long Mosaic Primary School Mentoring Programme.
Happier Mentoring!
If there was one other gift we could engender in our mentees, or indeed, any of our loved ones, I believe that gift would be happiness.
Mentoring is about personal growth as well as helping people
My decision to become a Mosaic mentor was driven by my passion to help people together with my desire to develop my own self-confidence.
Four quick and easy steps to improved confidence for mentors and mentees
Raising confidence is at the heart of Mosaic mentoring programmes and quite rightly so.
Success only comes when you follow through
‘Following through’ is the only way to build credibility, earn trust, and establish yourself as a leader. Without ‘follow through’, your credibility is suspect, your personal brand is damaged, and your leadership will be questioned.
Mindful mentoring
Faced with doing something new our inner critic revs up. Mindful mentoring can release us from this internal disturbance, enabling us to be calm, focused, in the moment and able to give of our best.
How to fast-track your promotion
Most people want to get on in life and improve their career prospects but in the competitive workplace in which we work, promotional prospects are not always easy to achieve.
Letting go of a friendship
For a friendship to work, there has to be a balance between the two parties – not one person having their needs met whilst others are overlooked.
