Mosaic students this week took part in an exciting new programme that saw them trained in vital soccer skills at the CITC Soccer School.
20 pupils from across Greater Manchester and Mosaic’s schools in the North West were selected to take part in this unique opportunity from 1-4th June to go to the CITC Soccer School.
Once there, the youngsters were taught key skills on the many technical, tactical, physical aspects of the game, as well as about the values of the club – passion, pride, professionalism, perseverance and team spirit.
The intensive four day master class saw the students put through their paces by UEFA qualified City coaches, with classes including warm up reaction games, small-sided matches, technique training including passing, dribbling, shooting, attacking, defending, and all aspects of goalkeeping.
As an added bonus the students were taken to Manchester City Football Club for a guided tour.
